BANKSY IN CALAIS
Bansky has 2 corrosive graffitis sheltered by Plexiglas on the street of Tannerie and at the beach rescue station.
Bansky is an artist internationally recognized for his corrosive graffiti. Calais has decided to protect two of his frescoes that are still intact. Sheltered by Plexiglas, these works can be admired on rue de la Tannerie and at the beach first aid post. Sensitive to the plight of migrants in Calais, the artist addresses this theme in these two works: one with a raft representing these travelers in distress; the other, at the first-aid station, with a child looking towards the English coast, through a spyglass on which is perched a vulture.

Une œuvre dont la réalisation est assez sommaire mais avec une forte représentation symbolique.
