The place to be in Anglet is the Bernardines convent.
The site has a number of assets that make it a pleasant place to discover: the old 19th-century building, the cemetery with its special design of sandy graves, topped by a scallop-shell cross, animated by different plants, the mini-museum with the life and work of Father Cestac, beatified in 2015, founder of the Servants of Mary congregation. Another original feature is the traditional organic cultivation of seasonal fruit and vegetables in their kitchen garden.
