ST. LÉGER'S CHURCH
The visit of this church allows a better understanding of the religious history of the town.
Dating from around the 15th century, the church of Saint-Léger remains where the other important buildings have disappeared. Of this old building, we will retain in particular the very beautiful white stone tower, erected in the 16th century, as well as the organ case which would come from the church of Lederzeele according to several writings. Pure manifestation of the Gothic style, the church is also surrounded by tombs like many others in the area. A visit that is worth the detour and which allows a better understanding of the religious history of the municipality.
