SALON DES MÉTIERS D'ART

For the first time since its creation, the Salon des métiers d'art will be held at the Bollaert stadium. The organization of this international event was entrusted in 2015 to the Institut des métiers d'art et du patrimoine de Lens. The Louvre-Lens museum is also a partner of the event. Every year, some 20,000 visitors come to meet around a hundred designers. The show highlights contemporary creations (furniture, tableware, etc.), the restoration of lighting fixtures, paintings, tapestries and the art of decoration. It's also an opportunity to witness the creation of live works and to take part in the many workshops and conferences organized.
