CIDRE H. DELOBEL
Although the house is rather "red fruits" and rather famous for its wine of redcurrant, it remains among the oldest cider producers in Pas-de-Calais. Fleuron of the range, «The cru of the Montreuillois and the 7 valleys», a local cru near confidential (but affordable, around 4,30 euros the bottle) with its 8 tons of pressed apples and 4 000 bottles that make the Fierté family proud. Only high-stem apple trees on the slopes are selected for this exceptional vintage, classified as a better raw cider in the North Pas De Calais and Picardie, medalist at the Pomexpo exhibition of Villeneuve-d'Ascq. The apples of the 7 valleys and the Montreuillois give a taste of a cider from 4,1 ° to 5 °, depending on the years, with a good balance between bitterness and fruity, slightly crude. It serves as the basis for the production of the Flip, an old recipe in Pas-de-Calais - so ask the producer who will guide you in person during your visit! To prolong the pleasures you can also discover the brandy of cider, a recipe developed since 1995. To finish and if you are in the middle of October, you can probably watch the pressing of cider apples. Get a call from time to time!
