SAINT VAAST CHURCH
This church has many elements listed in the Inventory of Historical Monuments
Mametz is nicknamed the village with the three bell towers, which stand out in the landscape, belonging to the churches Saint-Quentin de Marthes, Saint-Honoré de Crecques and the church Saint-Vaast, which is dated with its 15th century choir. Of the many items listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments, we can retain the stained glass windows, the Virgin and Child of the 19th century, the statue of Notre-Dame-de-Bruchine and several picturesque objects, including a painting donated by Napoleon III to the town. Cleaned and completely redone recently, it deserves a visit.
