MILITARY CEMETERIES AND MEMORIALS
Cemeteries containing 500 graves and grouping the majority of Portuguese soldiers who died in the conflicts of the century.
Situated on the rear-front during the First World War, the commune of Richebourg became the site of two military cemeteries: the Mémorial Indien de Neuve-Chapelle and Le Touret Military Cemetery and Memorial. The cemetery has 500 graves and contains the majority of Portuguese soldiers who died during the great conflicts of the 20th century. Circular in shape, it is located on the exact site of the Battle of Neuve-Chapelle.
