CHASSE DE LA PLANQUETTE
In the heart of the seven valleys, the Planquette is at the base a small river that takes its source to Planques to throw itself into the Canche. In a biotope of 700 hilly hectares that includes wood, plains and some ponds and marshes, the Hunting de la Planquette is a beautiful part of Pas-de-Calais. Of course, we hunt the game here. If you can hunt it in front of your stop dog, the real interest in this area is in those beaten of high vol and red partridge. Those beaten are certainly reminiscent of the big English raids where shooting is not easy. The birds arrive very quickly over 30 metres above the tireurs line, and only a good swing allows you to fly. At the end of the day it is possible to hunt the mallard near the waters of the territory.
