SAINT-OMER STATION - LA STATION
Saint-Omer cathedral station built in 1904, with a symmetrical neoclassical façade, hosting activities such as coworking.
This huge cathedral station is a must-see, if only for its perfectly symmetrical neoclassical façade! Built in 1904, it is listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments and adds its stone to the architectural wealth of the city. It had to close in 2011 because its ceiling was threatening to collapse. Reopened since, the spaces have been revised and it hosts various activities including coworking. Also, seven boreholes have been dug so that the building is powered by geothermal energy.
