PUBLIC GARDEN
The town's favourite walking area, this park is home to a number of animals that will delight young and old alike in Saint-Omer.
It is the privileged place of walk of the city, where, formerly, Vauban set up the ramparts. Dismantled at the end of the 19th century, a few sections remain, as well as a fort. Between the historical buildings, French and English gardens alternate. The park is also home to a few animals for the pleasure of young and old. Finally, a 19th century bandstand is still used for concerts. To find out more, the website of the Saint-Omer tourist office offers a free application, "Walls and Gardens".
