A GOOD WELCOME
Located in the very heart of the Marais, it is the 4 th generation to exploit the Bon Accueil, Valérie and his brother Olivier, hold passionately this extraordinary establishment. The restaurant offers many regional specialities such as the potjevleesch or the Flemish stew and pie in Maroilles. The special charm of the place lies in the possibility of renting boats in order to walk through the water in the audomarois marshes. Boat boats, canoes, rowing boats and motor to rent. In the afternoon, after a nice walk, it is also possible to eat a crepe or a waffle. Terrace on the water the summer.

Bon Accueil, we walks some little drive around the Marshes
Audomarois. To kill time is not a problem. Curiosities
don't miss
in the region. I fill the memory of my camera while shooting
the Watten mill and the ruins of the abbey facing. I capture
numerically all sorts of animals that love the wetlands
including swans, ducks, geese,
moorhens and frogs, but also other species
unexpected as the LAMA which braille when we pass in front of sound
Serques enclosure. The time of arrival meal, us
we direct Salperwick where we cut the engine of C3 on
parking of the restaurant. Le Bon Accueil is bordered by a canal that
leads straight in the marais. Small boats
with electric motor and canoes are docked in front of the hotel
but we will return later. The hour had been restored. I select menu
drinks the local beer, which is brown Saint-Omer. As for
solid food, we have the choice between several packages including
" starter and main course " or " main course and dessert " to see
for gourmets " a starter + main course + dessert '. We choose
the first option. We are given two tickets each: For
the entrance, the other for the main course. With our sesames, us
we are served a buffet inside the restaurant.
The dishes given for the entrance are a small diameter but
I squeeze food on one another, reinventing for
opportunity the recipe of the salad " land and sea " while forming
successive layers of herring, fish pies, salmon,
with rice salads and an end of pâté with beer with
garnish, some pickles. For the rest, we have the choice between
several dishes, including fresh ham, the inevitable stew
Flemish, welche and even fillet of perch that you
furnishes with vegetables. I leave with table with one
ham bracket accompanied by a gratin zucchini and cauliflower.
My selected boyfriend a stew and its practice when us
let us traverse Flanders. My ham bathes
in sauce but seems to me however without taste as for vegetables, they
appear as dull as those found in the ferry
flunch. I sauce plato opposite me, take a beef end,
stew with good taste with gingerbread touch
and very tender rooms. The desserts, we cannot speak of it
since (made extremely rare) even the chip, normally never
satisfied sugar refinery, does not have any. We pay the bill at the bar and
let us reserve at the same time a rowing boat for an excursion
from one hour through the marshy nature of Salperwick. For what
is row, I rows. Necesito already five good
minutes to give me an account that we go back out,
at the bottom of the boat in front. We pass close to the banks in order to it
that I cannot in turn, a blow the one on the right, a blow that of
left, dive the rowing in the water. Gulls
who fly above our heads play some. We exceed our
time package fifteen minutes but the owner do none
discipline and make us a has complete which was agreed to add to
the bill in case of delay. The association restaurant/strolls on
