HÔTEL-RESTAURANT LE RELAIS D’AYDIE
Warm and friendly hotel-restaurant with comfortable rooms and a menu with local recipes.
A colourful building at the entrance to the village of Aydie: you arrived at the Relais. Then you enter the old bar with its few Scottish nappées tables, wooden chairs, then the dining room, in the same rustic spirit but with voiles in a contemporary genre. The map makes a great contribution to local recipes. Here you will find the garbure, the typical Béarn soup, which is almost essential to this table as it is found in all menus. The fatty liver, the ceps omelet, all that is magret, wild boar, palombe, grilled and fish are also proposed. Dishes to accompany Madiran wine and vegetables in an independent card to finish with homemade desserts. All plates have a joint servies. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Finally, the hotel has renovated the floor to set up a small hotel with 6 comfortable rooms for a longer stopover in the region.
