VERCHIN CASTLE
Castle dating from 1760 in the valley of the Lys, which houses a white stone chapel and an English park with a vegetable garden.
The castle of Verchin is hidden at the bottom of a valley, in the valley of the Lys. It was built in 1760 and restored in 1869. To the right of the main brick building are two adjoining pavilions and to the far left of the building is a white stone chapel. Around the castle, an English-style park with majestic trees and aquatic plants, as well as a vegetable garden with over 100 varieties of plants and vegetables. The castle of Verchin has been registered as a historical monument in 2010!
