ST. PAUL'S ABBEY
Benedictine abbey welcoming people in monastic retreat.
This Benedictine abbey, founded in 1889, is affiliated with the Solesmes congregation. The monks were quickly expelled by the anti-Catholic laws in 1901. They withdrew to the Netherlands and did not return to France until after the First World War. From that time on, they set about enlarging the abbey with the monks' chapel and the new guesthouse. The monks made famous religious ceramics (patron saint, catechism puzzle...). The abbey welcomes people on monastic retreat. An unusual spiritual experience.

Le père hôtelier est très gentil et accueillant.
Les messes sont magnifiques, des chants merveilleux.
Lors des retraites nous avons la chance de partager nos repas avec les moines du monastère, c'est un super moment.
