A menu based on organic and local produce close to Nantes airport.
The restaurant du Coq à l'âne is attached to and associated with the educational farm of la Ranjonnière (with garden, henhouse, hutches, sheepfold...). It also has a farm produce store and is located in the immediate vicinity of Nantes Atlantique airport. Lovers of unusual places, seize the opportunity to enjoy, in the countryside, a meal enlivened by an impressive ballet of planes finishing their descent just a stone's throw away! This entertaining paradox is already worth the trip, but you will come back especially for Christine Tessier's gourmet and furiously effective menu. Working exclusively from local, organic and seasonal products, this former animator of the Terroirs 44 association relies on a network of carefully selected suppliers. The quality of the raw materials is a constant concern of the restorer, and you can feel it! Due to freshness, the proposals change over the course of the year. That day we enjoyed a pressed citrus ray, and a buckwheat tatin with aubergines and candied tomatoes followed by a Nantes pineapple cake with vanilla ice cream and a lime cheesecake, which are among the house's highlights. It is advisable to book, because pilots, flight attendants and connoisseur neighbours are taking over this excellent address which, with generosity and kindness, will make you pass from rooster to donkey very gently....

des saisons. Le restaurant a subi plusieurs extensions au gré des années sans jamais rogné sur la qualité gustative. De jolies assiettes, un service souriant et sympathique.
