Espace Equestre du Pays de Retz is an equestrian center located in Chauvé, Loire-Atlantique. It offers equestrian activities based on ethology, i.e. understanding the behavior of horses in their natural environment. The relational approach used at the center is particularly suited to people with disabilities or non-verbal communication difficulties. The center has 46 hectares of natural meadows where the horses live in herds. It also offers high-quality outdoor spaces, a large hall and a camping area. The activities on offer are suitable for everyone, from the age of two, and include individual or group lessons, initiations, perfectioning, animations, parties and seminars. The Espace Equestre du Pays de Retz is also an ecological site, certified as an organic farm and a refuge for the Ligue Protectrice des Oiseaux.
