CIRCUIT DE L'ILE ADET
About 4 hours and 30 minutes are needed to complete this 18.5 km long route, which starts at Place du Général de Gaulle. This tour is an opportunity to appreciate the variety of plant species, such as ash, beech, maple, oak, hawthorn or chestnut. However, beware of hiking in winter, along the edge of marshes, as the road that crosses them is sometimes flooded. Take a complete tour of Adet Island: the topography of the terrain allows you to imagine its exact outline, as it was once. You will also appreciate the names of the hamlets, evocative, such as Port de l'île, Pé de l'île, Moulin de l'île... The calm of the countryside and the tranquility of these typical hamlets of the Pays de Retz will not leave you indifferent and will invite you to enjoy a moment of serenity. At Les Pins, pass by a menhir and discover the Sillon de Bretagne to the north and the village of Frossay to the west.
