CIRCUIT DU TROU DE L’ENFER
This tour is to be done at low tide since you have to walk part of the beach before reaching the customs path, once occupied by more than 400 agents! Between Maxence Beach and Rinais Beach, we can see the old iron spring discovered in 1851. And at the end of the Rinais beach, you will notice the polygonal tower and the remains of the Voruz founder's personal jetty. Further on, you will cross the famous Hell's Hole, an impressive corridor carved by the sea into the cliff. From alleys to dirt roads, you will pass near the Château de la Gressière (19th century), built on the site of a 10th century fortified house and converted into an exceptional hotel restaurant. Finally, you will admire the panoramic view of the bay before returning to Thibaud Park under the railway bridge. A very pleasant seaside walk.
