L'ATELIER DE LA DOUNE COURS ET TRAVAUX D'AIGUILLES
The Doune is the name of Nadine, the mistress of the place. She opened her sewing and needle work workshop at La Chapelle-sur-Erdre in 2013. But she's not at his test. The previous 7 years, she held the Clan of Chicks (rue des Hauts-Pavés in Nantes), which was at the same time a restaurant, tea room and workshop. Sewing, the Doune fell in when she was small. She embodies the 5 th generation of family designers. She stole from the machine at 9 and made his own clothes at 14! She knows as well sewing as knitting, hooking and even following art embroidery training. It conveys its knowledge to both beginners and experienced people who want to overcome technical difficulties. Clothes, accessories, decoration… Everyone comes with his project. Cutting table, sewing machines, wires and even buttons… are available but it is also possible to come with its own equipment. The courses bring up to 3 people, last on average 2 hours but of course it is possible. The Doune also sells its achievements: Bags, pillows. A great time for the "needles" of all.
