This Mastroquet, an old term that can be found on the facade with accents of an ever-present past that today we would simply call a bistro, a neighbourhood bar... created in the 1920s, in the heart of the "Quartier des Halles". Here you can have a drink, but also, at lunchtime, take a break with the friendly and professional lady of the house. On the slate, she offers you a few dishes, depending on the moment, tortillas, fine vegetable tart, half-cockerel, Basque tuna, minced beef, blanquette and other home-made dishes all year round. Same register for desserts. It's all simple, friendly and relaxed, with regulars who don't miss a thing. In season, from 7pm, enjoy their musical entertainment while having a drink.
