A sixties-style restaurant, reminiscent of the school world of the time, with menus steeped in Bayonne nostalgia.
At La Cantine, a neighborhood restaurant that's atypical because it's vintage, and that at every turn takes you back to the school world of a 1960s classroom. As soon as you step through the door, you're reminded of that era by a host of details, including the menu's names: "bonnet d'âne", "du fayot", "des p'tits". We've tasted chipirons xipister style, gourmet burgers, "homemade" foie gras, traditional crème brûlée with carambar... On Saturdays, it's the Dirlo menu with Aldabia chicken, home fries and jus. Naturally, you'll be wearing a grey coat!
