The Aviron Bayonnais chess club already has over 100 members! It's the ideal club on the Basque coast, the second largest in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, with a master trainer for children (the highest coaching grade in the French federation). The facility is ideally equipped for learning and perfecting this cerebral and ancient sport. Introductory courses for the very young and advanced courses for adults all year round, and free play on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8.30pm. An international sport that never goes out of fashion, despite the influence of video games.
