LE CHEMIN DES JAUPINS
A beautiful route linking Bedous and Aydius, it takes, first of all, the square of the Bedous church, the mule track and then the pavement of the ancient slate quarries of Aydius. After a climb and then a crossing of an oak forest, we arrive in the Granges des Jaupins district. Count according to your state of fitness, 1 hour on a mountain bike and 3 hours on foot for 9 kilometers and 450 meters of altitude difference when going up and 170 when going down. This route is part of a series of trails designed by the community of municipalities of the Aspe Valley. Set on its green setting at an altitude of 750 metres, the charming village of Aydius enjoys an exceptional panoramic view, which makes it the highlight of the trip.
