Mauves in black, this unique polar festival in the region, has been investing the streets of Mauves-sur-Loire since 2002, and is becoming an increasingly recognized cultural event. Everyone is invited to participate in the event by letting the imagination wander to write a new one on a subject imposed, different each year. Mauves in black is also a place of encounters between «old drivers» of the polar, young authors or simple curious amateurs of gender. There are cabaret, reading, books and round tables. And for the festival to be even more user-friendly, the authors are housed in the inhabitant.
