CIRCUIT DES VIGNES
On the slopes of the Sanguèze, Mouzillon is one of the oldest parishes in the department. A witness of the Latin era, this town has a small Gallo-Roman bridge, unique in the West, with 4 arches that crosses the Sanguèze river. The village of Mouzillon is located on the Roman road that once linked Rouen to Bordeaux. Shaved in 1794, this village has since been rebuilt in the typical style of the southern Loire. The vineyard circuit offers a beautiful stroll around the Sanguèze, to the west of the town. The vineyard dominates the landscapes of this tour and the hilly paths offer beautiful views. Small villages dot the promenade, then we cross the Sanguèze river to return to the vineyard paths with a thousand colours north of the river. Please note that a picnic and camper van area is located near the starting point.
