Alsatian specialities accompanied by wines selected from winegrowers in Nantes.
Fancy an Alsatian speciality? Nostalgic for storks and Alsatian wines? L'Alsacien has opened near the North station. After Paris, Besançon, Dijon and Saint-Étienne, here is Nantes, Nantes "a few hours stop". The famous Flammekueches, called flames here, are available in both savoury and sweet versions. Try the traditional flamme made with fresh cream, onions, smoked bacon, all on a thin and crispy pastry! The Gratinée is aptly named; you can also travel to the land of the Munster valley or even a vegetarian and vegan version with the "Volkvegan". Of course the sauerkraut with the "Pikachouchroute" or "Commissaire Magret" with the duck! The flames are like happiness: it is shared, just like the boards and plates: you choose your favourite assortments (cold cuts, cheese, raw vegetables). Big kids love the "Knack Knack on Heavens doors": the sausages! with always these hijacked titles that make us smile. Sweet version, the flame is found in brown sugar, cinnamon, chocolate, Grand Marnier. What about drinks? Alsatian wines of course, but also Schnaps, Alsatian craft beers and wines selected from independent wine growers. Conviviality is the order of the day with the welcome of Michael, Valentin, and the girls "our little storks! Good atmosphere, good music and a welcome at the top and brewing of the regions as we like!
