A new name and a new Siena facade in 2021 for this authentic Italian pizzeria. Behind the wrought iron door, the pizza oven heats up the room, the delicious smell wafts out into the street. Ham by the slice, oregano, fresh basil and candied citron simmering over a low heat whet the appetite. On the shelves, good bottles of anderero, speranza and big jars of Polpa 100% italiana tomato sauce à la Warhol adorn the red walls. Mehdi, who runs the shop, and Samuel have Italy in their blood and at their fingertips. Here, you eat your pizza without cutlery, between two sunny sips of Italian red, to the tune of Umberto Tozzi. J'ai trouvé ce charmant restaurant en bas de la rue de notre AirBnB. Le personnel était très serviable étant donné que nous ne parlions pas un mot de français. La nourriture était à un prix très raisonnable, nous avons opté pour un combo de boissons comprenant un cocktail / une bière. Les boissons et les pizzas vraiment appréciées étaient super ! Très frais, nous n’avons pas attendu longtemps. Je le recommanderais certainement. Petit restaurant mais l'ambiance était charmante. Merci!
