Restaurant serving Afghan and Iranian cuisine, homemade with fresh produce, a good idea for a gustatory journey.
Molana is a family affair, with roots in Afghanistan and Iran. This off-island restaurant, opened just a few months ago, is well worth a visit. The parents work wonders in the kitchen, while the son greets diners with a smile. Mezzés (soups, eggplant caviar, crisps) and traditional dishes (lamb, chicken confit with saffron, leek ravioli) made from fresh ingredients are delicious: the rice perfumed with thorn-vinegar is a delight, the falafels crunchy... A meal like this deserves to be rounded off with a sweet treat: Iranian ice cream, baklava, saffron cake... Molana also offers a catering service for special events.
