Street-food address where fresh fish is honoured with the roll or bowl version, vegetarian dishes
In March 2021, just a stone's throw from the cathedral, a street-food space where fresh fish can be savored like a delicacy will open under the sign of fish. Laura and Alexandre Aubert are behind this brand-new concept. Alexandre, with his 12 years' experience as a fishmonger, knows a thing or two about the marine world, and together with his wife, they wanted to share their passion for fish and respect for the product. The principle is simple: choose the roll or bowl version and the toppings of the moment (fish/seafood gravlax, ceviche or snacks) according to the catch of the day supplied by a local fishmonger. The roll is a brioche bread made at their bakery according to their personal recipe. It is toasted with butter, cut in half and filled. Try the succulent Nantais topped with snacked scallops, caramelized leek, lamb's lettuce and Curé nantais. Or the delicious Salmon with Label Rouge Scottish salmon, goat's cream, sriracha, lamb's lettuce and fresh chives. The bowl is a mixed salad. Enjoy the Pesto Crevette with basil, garlic and lime marinated shrimp, mini penne, OMF rocket walnut pesto, peas and Parmesan shavings. Or ceviche with sea bream and Corsican grapefruit, or other fruit depending on the season. A vegetarian alternative is also available. And for a sweet touch, succumb to Laura's carrot cake, choco hazelnut cookie or other homemade desserts. And the good news is, if you take the menu, your loyalty will be rewarded with a free fish roll after 10 visits. Oh my fish!

Les desserts maison sont de vrais délices et personnellement j'aime car moins sucré et gras que dans la plupart des restaurants.
L'accueil est dynamique et très chaleureux!
Une adresse nantaise à ne pas manquer!

The fish roll was awesome - crispy bread, perfectly marinated fish, and sauce. One downside, however, was the absence of a restroom. Also, since it is fast food, the price could be lower. However, given the quality that's ok.
