Authentic, exotic cuisine with revisited recipes.
With its discreet frontage, Le Grappillon is a little corner of paradise for all gourmets. We are greeted by the smiling Patricia, wife of chef Bruno. We're treated to local cuisine based on fresh produce. Two rooms invite you to relax to the sound of classical music. Here, taste buds are literally taken on a journey with recipes often revisited with spices. One day notes from the Indian Ocean, another from the West Indies... The menu evolves according to the chef's inspirations. The menu also offers excellent value for money, both for lunch and dinner. Start with a spinach and emmental muffin with fresh chilli or a vegetable velouté with sweet spices; follow with a gratin de la mer with notes of the Indian Ocean or braised chicken fricassee with coconut juice and colombo spices, and finish with lemon besboussa or pear, coconut and orange blossom pudding, or the excellent café gourmand.

La cuisine est savoureuse, exotique mais très épicée. Trop épicée pour moi.
Chouette adresse, au cœur de Nantes, ouverte au déjeuner tous les jours de la semaine.
