Restaurant-tea room offering home-made pastries in Nantes.
See the few bistro tables and chairs just installed under the intermediate staircase of the Pommeraye Passage, difficult to imagine that the La Passagère tea lounge is such a beautiful place. In the shop area (at the entrance), the pastries immediately take you from the eye. There is a very beautiful collection of teas and infusions from Georges Cannon. Then we take place on a bench or a red chair. The frame is chic, elegant and relaxed with high ceilings adorned with cornfowl, stone vaults, chandeliers, large mirrors… The beautiful surprise is the luminosity of the place thanks to the large windows overlooking the Silver Well Street. At the map, everything is made home: pastries, brioches, pastries, salted dishes. At noon, we treat ourselves to a formula "Mijoté" or "Vegetarian": Swimming in Saint-Jacques, leafy pie with vegetables from the garden, beef tartare, hake back and small vegetables or parting ducks… Ideal for lunch on the thumb between friends! Even good plan to drink tea or coffee accompanied by a cake. Tarte to the two lemons, macaron, millew, Passagère (cookie, black chocolate foam, mascarpone cream, ripe coulis), the choice will be difficult. La Passagère is the third establishment of Jean-Charles and Isabelle Baron (Maison Baron-Lefèvre in Nantes, les Pellières in Saint-Herblain).
