EZOPE STREETFOOD
In the spotlight: focaccia, Italian bread in sandwich or salad form.
Ezope, in Greek Aesop, was a writer famous for his fables. He inspired the fabulist La Fontaine. The manager of this restaurant, Aude Bouassière, has drawn on his literary values to pass on her culinary values with a specialty, focaccia, a homemade Italian bread presented in sandwich or salad form. The products are local, with free-range chicken from Nort-sur-Erdre and vegetables from Ferme Gourmande in Carquefou. Everything is homemade, cooked by head chef Antoine Lavarec. The result is great flavours and a generous plate. For a refreshing drink, try a bissap juice or Ginger Beer. Ezope is also present at Carquefood, a popular spot at peak times.
