Charming brasserie with a menu and recipes based on fish or meat in Nantes.

This charming brasserie with a 1930s estaminet look is run by the "tireless" Dom' and Lydie! On the menu: beautiful Greek and Asian salads, tempting starters: rabbit terrine, or the mimosa egg! Fish lovers will choose the grilled cuttlefish stuffed with rouille sauce or the octopus ceviche with sweet and sour sauce. You can also enjoy delicious meats: coq au vin jaune or duck breast roasted with figs with real fries or a wok of vegetables. Finish with a delicious homemade dessert: mi-cuit with salted butter caramel, chocolate profiteroles or jonchée, a fresh cheese from Charente. To be accompanied by a good Belgian beer or a local wine.

Une très bonne table nantaise. Les produits sont excellents, les viandes divines. Je vosu recommande le burger du Coq, une tuerie avec ses frites maison.
Un cadre bistrot ou le personnel est accueillant.

A reservation at 20:00 for 6 people... after swallow the antipastis and drink... we wait more than two hours before you can have a moment of attention from the waiters...exhausted by this long wait we decided to leave! no commercial gesture of their share... some excuse, see both reproaches because of leaving while our dishes would be ready in 10 minutes (same sentence harped for 2 hours.)...

we had already very good at but waiting for more than two hours without seeing only one dish, that had never arrived me!

avis totalement subjectif, le cadre est génial (vieille brasserie en bois) toujours blindé de monde. les serveurs/ses sont très accueillantes et vraiment mignonnes. le demi-mètre de boeuf est l'incontournable plat de la brasserie. le tartare césar est tout aussi excellent. à vrai dire, ça fait plus de trois ans que j'y vais, et je dois avoué ne pas encore avoir trouvé meilleur ambiance et bons plats combinés. on se surprend souvent quand on regarde l'heure et qu'on s’aperçoit que ça fait déjà 4 h qu'on est à table en train de parler de choses et d'autres. l'ambiance est égale à celle d'un pub irlandais et la nourriture est excellente. je recommande cette brasserie à tout le monde et jusqu'à préent aucun n'a été déçu!
