Neighborhood bistro where everything is homemade with fresh products: slate at noon and boards in the evening.
In the quiet Hauts-Pavés street near Viarme, the authentic cuisine of the Petits-Pavés bistro is entirely homemade from fresh produce. Olivier, the smiling owner, welcomes us with the help of new chef Pierre Cornut. Menus are on the slate and the menu changes weekly. A new vegetarian dish is also available! This is bistro cooking at its best, with a traditional, affordable menu. The menu changes according to the market. For starters, try our marinated salmon with chive cream. Dishes are tempting, such as beef onglet (200 g), sliced duck breast and thyme-roasted camembert, or a skewer of salmon Saint-Jacques with beurre blanc. XXL" salads are on the menu, such as the Nordic salad (marinated salmon, shrimp, cucumber and tomato), the Southwest salad (gizzards, manchon, smoked duck breast and melon) or the Serrano plate (ham and sautéed potatoes). For those with a sweet tooth, try one of our homemade desserts: île flottante, chocolate mousse, crème brûlée or the famous café gourmand. The redecorated restaurant boasts two beautiful separate rooms, one of them luminous with a period fireplace and sublime chandeliers by Chantenay artist Valérie Menuet. In the evenings, Olivier serves up his exquisite platters to share (terrine, smoked fish from the Ile d'Yeu), accompanied by wines from his cellar with some sixty references.
