Bistrot offers various menus based on fresh and local products in the rue Franklin in Nantes.
As its name suggests, Chez Franklin is located on Franklin Street, a stone's throw from Graslin Square. This downtown shopping street is punctuated with chic and gourmet signs. The Chez Franklin bistro is in this vein. It offers a modern and refined setting in shades of black, grey and white with a touch of gold and red. In the library, a pretty collection of decanters. On the walls, intriguing so-called witch's mirrors with distorting glasses. A la carte, fresh local produce from here and elsewhere. Among the starters: homemade fish accras, salmon makis with Thai sauce, pan-fried knives a la plancha, homemade virgin sauce. Dishes: scallop risotto, full-bodied juice, Ospital Basque blood sausage pudding parmentier, knife beef tartar, Franklin cheeseburger, roasted lamb mouse, full-bodied juice with honey and hazelnuts, tagine-style vegetables... For dessert, tarte tatin des demoiselles, grandmother's rice pudding, Franklin shortbread tiramisu, salted butter caramel, gluten-free Marylou Baulois de Marylou. You stalling? Let yourself be seduced by the "very gourmet" coffee that hasn't stolen its superlative. At the service, Nouf, Sandrine and Max are attentive, discreet and efficient. It is also a good place to have an aperitif with fine wines, liqueurs, champagnes à la carte accompanied by cheese boards, cold meats to share... And why not toast on the terrace thanks to the heated stoves. Possibility to book online.
