Unique restaurant with a carnivore-oriented menu, ensuring the maturation of its meats
First of all, the idea of lunch in a prison may seem silly, but it is now possible in the heart of Nantes, on the square of Bouffay. This great establishment, opened at the beginning of 2016, decided to enhance its direct historical heritage: the old prison in Bouffay. It was used from the th to the th century and one can still see the architecture of former prisons in the basement. For the rest, it's mainly the grids in the restaurant that remind you of its sinister past to the fans of French meat. Because yes, here the map is specially carnivorous-oriented: pork, beef, lamb. They are all found (Salers, Aubrac or Charolais) and in all their forms: sausage or pork, plays or poire beef, tenderloin, coast or beef tender… There are tartars, burgers, or carpaccios… Prison prison itself ensures the maturation of its meat. For gourmets, there is also the "prisoner's torture": from the caviar of Dordogne! The plates are generous and the quality is at the rendez-vous, with a smile for the service, smiling. You will surely enjoy the factory atmosphere of the many rooms that overlook this beautiful address, between apparent stone walls and design, black and white photos (don't miss that of Nantes!) and lounge music. A singular place that deserves a visit!

Nous avons pris de la viande de boeuf excellente, très tendre.
Le prix n'est pas excessif car le cadre est original et il y a plusieurs salles à l'intérieur.
