Good address in Nantes offering à la carte dishes, original, varied and quality dishes.
In the heart of the modern and dynamic district of the Republic, neighbour of the Elephant and the Carrousel des Mondes marin on the island of Nantes, Le Petit François offers its nobility to the bistro. Behind the large glass facade that overlooks the square François II (hence the name of the establishment), reveals a sober and vintage decor, with its furniture in flea, which sticks well to the trend of the moment. It is nice and well arranged. But it's mostly on the plate that Le Petit François gets his cue from the game. Lomo of bluefin tuna, fresh soup, chef's bowl, lemon cream and house ice… the menu changes almost every day. Here, no formulas but only à la carte dishes. Florent, the former chef of Artur wharf in Turenne and Bertrand, misé on original dishes at very reasonable prices with regard to the quality and variety of preparations coming from the kitchen. The wine list is not in the rest and with glass or bottle, with or without sulphites, you will find what to accompany your meal. The location is very popular with local workers and it is better to book. If there are many people, the service remains fast and efficient. In the beautiful days you can enjoy the large terrace overlooking the square. A good address for who wants to find the spirit (and rates) of the neighbourhood bistros with high quality on their plate.
