Hearty and tasty plates served with a wide choice of drinks in Nantes.
In the pedestrianised Kervégan street, the Vache Nantaise (Nantes Cow) was transformed in the spring of 2018 and the change is radical. Under the leadership of Ati, the smiling master of the place, the decoration is more modern and daring: the large convivial benches, the paintings representing magnificent cows including a Miss France, without forgetting a few country winks including this piece of meadow above our heads ... You will have understood it: here meat is in the spotlight! You'll find it on the plates: the copious tartars and carpaccios, the tasty prime rib, the creamy grilled entrecote, the burgers including a vegan and some fish like the XL salmon tartar or the fish and chips.... The cooking is perfectly mastered and the plates are neat. On the drinks side, the menu offers a wide choice with in particular the Beaux Flacons in red wine (Pessac-Léognan, Haut-Médoc Château Sociando Mallet) but also white wines from the Loire Valley, Languedoc and the South-West. We finish with a little sweetness: the destructured lemon tart or the gourmet profiteroles. The service is pleasant and smiling.
