A friendly bistro offering the best of Basque and Iberian specialties.

In the historic Bouffay district, the chef invites us to discover his Basque and Iberian specialties. This superb restaurant has reinvested the walls of a half-timbered house in a typical South-West atmosphere. Tapas, Pata Negra, croquetas, stuffed Spanish-style mussels. But also sardines grilled with Espelette chilli, fillet of sea bass with parmesan shortbread and the inevitable chipirones a la plancha (grilled squid with garlic)... Regional wines, Basque cake, seasonal fruit pavlova or pastry chef's suggestion. A sure bet.

J'y ai déjeuné avec des amis de passage sur Nantes. Le repas était excellent avec des quantités raisonnables. Je conseille les profiteroles, cela faisait longtemps que je n'en avais pas mangé d'aussi gourmandes !

Très bonne ambiance et très bon service.
Les plats sont copieux et excellents ????

Petit bémol: pour une note de quasi 900€ avoir le digeo offert aurait été appréciable..

Mais j'y reviendrais avec plaisir ????
