CAFÉ DU MUSÉE
Bistro and urban restaurant offering a unique cuisine, a short slate of meats and seafood
Éric Guérin is no stranger to La Mare aux Oiseaux in Saint-Joachim. In 2016, this chef continued his momentum by opening a new address, Café du Musée, in the heart of the new Musée d'Arts de Nantes. Here, there's nothing ostentatious about either the decor or the short menu, full of treasures. For starters, the potato and egg panacotta with seed granola is dazzling. The vegetable couscous is a marvel. For dessert, the famous Nantais rum cake is divine. It's beautiful, it's good, it's sometimes surprising. At the same time, there's no hesitation in discovering the participatory library or playing card games. And on weekends, it's brunch time! A must in Nantes.
