GAME OVER
Gamers' paradise exists and, good news, it's been in Nantes since 2013. On rue Lebrun, just off rue Joffre, Game Over was the first Barcraft (a concept from the USA originally used to indicate a bar party organized around the game Starcraft II) in the West to open its doors. Behind this good idea is a group of passionate geeks. The principle of the place is simple: unlike a cybercafé, here you don't pay by the hour, you only pay for your drinks. On the other hand, you don't necessarily play your favorite games, but only those that the bar decides to feature each day. For example, you can take part in a One Piece burning blood, League of Legends or Street Fighter V tournament. The media also vary, and games can be played on a variety of self-service consoles and computers. The bar also provides access to an arcade and retro games. A screen regularly broadcasts video game competitions, and board game evenings are organized once a week. As for drinks, in addition to a classic menu, Game Over offers some thirty in-house cocktails, with or without alcohol, with evocative names such as the Yoshi or the Poro with moustache. The place is open to all, and even if you're not a geek, it's worth immersing yourself in this fascinating universe.
