Les Nuits du jazz has known in Nantes for nearly 20 years a growing success. With this experience, Jean-Philippe Vidal wanted to prolong the Adventure by creating the Western Jazz Academy. Nothing academic or boring in this bet, quite the contrary. It is a question of contemplating jazz in what it can have overall: music, of course, but music influenced by its time. The idea of this academy is a conference on Wednesday a month at the Vasse Room on a renowned singer, instrument or group, held by a specialist and illustrated in live by different artists: Veronika Rodriguez, the West Coast Jazz Quintet and many others.
