The Nantes Carnival is an ancient tradition that has taken many forms. Discover parades, floats, music and confetti!
The Nantes Carnival is a rendezvous with the people of Nantes, with its floats, big heads, colorful parades, music and confetti throwing. It takes place over three days, with just as many parades: on Sunday, a children's parade on Wednesday and a night parade the following Saturday evening. The 200 or so volunteers who work in the workshops throughout the year will once again be using their imagination to decorate the superb floats, some of which reach 8 metres in height... To the delight of young and old alike.
