Every year, for one weekend, plant enthusiasts gather at the Parc du Grand Blottereau. Some 40,000 visitors are expected. It's an opportunity for professionals and amateurs alike to share their common passions: plants, environmental protection and biodiversity. This free event is the perfect place to get all the information you need to look after your garden, listen to lectures given by professionals and, if you feel like it, take away some of the plants you've bought from the exhibitors. La Folie des Plantes brings together nearly 200 exhibitors, plant producers, horticultural associations and allotment gardeners. Fair trade and solidarity exchanges are also present. It's one of the biggest plant shows and sales in France.
