INSTITUT ÉDOUARD NIGNON
The aim of the Édouard Nignon Institute is to raise the profile of this man from Nantes. A kitchen apprentice at the age of 9, he became a chef at a very young age before embarking on a world tour of gastronomy and culinary writing. The association focuses on promoting gastronomy by awarding a culinary literary prize, the Prix Nignon, and by organizing culinaro-cultural lunches, which enable visitors to discover a particular place and theme with a guest speaker. In 2025, the institute's goal is to create a recipe that will be recognized as part of Nantes' cultural heritage!
