The Erdre is, of course, one of Nantes' major rivers. You can admire it in the heart of the city, but you can also follow it as far as Nort-sur-Erdre, and what better way to admire its beauty than to take to the river. To do so, Floating is here to rent electric boats, kayaks or paddles. In the case of electric boats (no license required), you can sail with up to 7 people at an average speed of 6 to 8 km/h. Depending on the option you choose, you can take a trip up to La Poupinière (7 hours round trip), admiring the many castles along the way. Kayaks and paddles are available for hire. There are many models to choose from, depending on your experience and needs: family outings, beginners or sporty outings requiring certain prerequisites. But Floating also offers paddle fitness and paddle yoga classes with a professional instructor, Erdre paddle sunrises and sunset afterworks... Sous ces airs gentillets, le gérant est une machine à fric. Après avoir déjà payé 80 euros pour une sortie de 2 h, celui-ci n’a pas hésité à nous réclamer 10 euros de plus pour 10 minutes de retard (1€ / minutes !).
Bien évidemment, celui-ci ne voulait rien savoir et nous a directement tendu le TPE pour la carte bancaire en soutenant que nous n’étions pas capable de savoir différencier l’orientation du vent…
Nous étions prêt à revenir avec d’autres amis, c’est bien dommage, il aurait fait encore plus de « fric » en étant commercial.
