On the question of water control, a number of things must be answered. First of all, it is responsible for producing and transporting drinking water in every house and office in Nantes and its seven communes around (Orvault, Saint-Herblain, Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, Chapelle-sur-Erdre, Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, Carquefou, Thouaré-sur-Loire). To do so, it manages 3 pumping stations, the Roche production plant which produces 120 million litres of drinking water per day, the transfer and storage in reservoirs, pipes and connections. It also deals with approximately 117 000 clients who wish to subscribe or terminate their contract.
