The establishment, located on the Ile de Nantes, in the heart of the Quartier de la Création, has classrooms, large trays, passageways, an amphitheatre, a specialized library, a centre open to the public of more than 900 m² including a resource centre, an art gallery and a collection of contemporary art, an exhibition gallery and a solidarity grocery store, all in a decor that honors transparency and past industrial elements. The 4,300 m² of workshops are devoted to research and experimentation in all areas of the visual arts: construction, image and print divisions. Equipped with a circular table that is both large and original to say the least, the school's large forecourt is intended to become a public space. Another objective is to share and create common projects with neighbouring schools (archi, graphic arts centres, etc.). This site will enable the school to increase its student numbers to 500 in the medium term, 30% of whom are foreigners. 2,000 students of all ages and their teaching teams occupy the spaces dedicated to higher education, public courses and artistic education.
