The good surprise of families who arrive (or live) in Nantes is the wading pools which open in early June and close in mid September. No worries about hygiene, water analyses are done daily. After a walk in the Worker park, follow the water and the children's cries, and you will surely fall on the Pool street paddling pool in front of the Worker Park. If it's on the Garden side of the garden that you're looking for with your offspring, don't miss the Garden garden paddling pool that allows parents to sip a drink in coffee while watching their kids. There is also the Plessis-Tison Park, the square Jean-Le-Gigant, the Noé-Mitrie Park, the Parc de la Halvêque (rue André-Malraux), as well as various other places such as Malakoff (rue de Hungary), Lower Mar (Lower-Mar Square), Chêne-des-Anglais (rue Samuel-de-Champlain), Fin-des-Pavés (Rue du Québec), Boissière (rue André-Chénier), Grande Garenne (rue Jean-François-Champollion), Port-Boyer (rue de Pornichet), Grand-Noue (rue Max-Planck), Petit-Sensive (rue du Honduras), Croix-Bonneau (rue des Sables-d'Olonne), Breil-Malville (rue Jacques-Feyder) and Clos-Toreau (rue Saint-Jean-de-Luz). And finally, don't miss the water mirror at the foot of the castle of the Dukes of Brittany, which is not really a paddling pool, but which has a great success with children thanks to impromptu water jets!
