Created in 1990, ADEME (Agence de l'environnement et de la maîtrise de l'énergie) is a public agency whose mission is to help implement public policies in the fields of the environment, energy and sustainable development. To this end, the agency provides expertise and advice to companies, local authorities and the general public. Faced with the multitude of solutions on offer and the ever-growing number of companies with the "green" label, it's hard to find your way around, especially if you're not an expert. Is it better to buy a heat pump or install photovoltaic panels? What is geothermal energy? Is my craftsman competent or just opportunistic? Will my bill really be divided by 4? With this in mind, the institution is developing a range of tools to answer your questions and guide you in your domestic investments: information on financial aid for individuals (tax credits), on equipment, useful addresses, etc. Local advice is available in Nantes at the Alisée energy information center... You'll have no more excuses for not greening your home!
